Daily Bulletin

Readfield Elementary School Bulletin for Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Principal's Notes Thank you for making Family Literacy Night such a huge success this year! We had about 160 participants, and another 30 or so folks who ran the workshops in attendance on Tuesday evening. All of the workshop leaders I talked with were very enthusiastic about their group's work. A couple of folks are even making additional plans to run after school workshops with students. There were two different activities that were still going strong at 7:30pm! I wholeheartedly agree with Mrs. Bourgoine's statement, "It truly was a pleasure to witness the excitement and energy of kids and families enjoying time together listening, performing, reading, writing, drawing, learning and doing!" If you have an idea about a literacy-connected activity for next year, please feel free to mention it to Nancy Moorman or Barbara Bourgoine. Many thanks to them and REPA for all their efforts to help coordinate the evening's events.
