Student Led Conferences ItŐs time for Spring conferences which feature Advisor-based Student Led Conferences. Conferencing with advisors provides the time for every student to share their learning. Your child will lead you through a portfolio of work that has been diligently reviewed, evaluated and reflected upon with input from team teachers. Student led conferences spotlight the most important person in the process: the student. Please come to this conference prepared to listen, acknowledge his or her effort and growth, and ask questions of your child. If questions remain unanswered after the Advisor-based Student Led Conference, feel free to sign up after the conference to meet with your childŐs team/teachers at the available times identified below. Advisor-based Student Led Conferences will be scheduled through Pick a Time, the online program we used in the fall. When scheduling this conference, please sign up for a common time when you and your child plan to attend. Please use the link on our website to sign up at mcms.maranacook.org. Be sure to sign up under your childŐs ADVISOR. Your childŐs teachers will be available if you have questions after the student led conference. In order to meet with them, you will need to sign up at that time on the sign up sheet outside the teacher/team door. If you do not have internet access, please contact Kim Lucas at extension 402 to sign up for an Advisor-based Student Led conference. Conferences will be held on Tuesday March 16 and Monday March 22. The schedule for those nights is: Parent, student, and advisor: 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Available time with classroom teachers: 4:05 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Parent, student, and advisor: 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Available time with classroom teachers: 6:20 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Maranacook Community Middle School advisors look forward to seeing you.
